Eemax was established in 1988 with a line of tankless water heaters for commercial applications ranging in size from .5gpm to about 1.5gpm. The original Eemax technology was patented and quickly emerged as themost flexible technology on the market. Eemax was purchased by the private equity firm Riverside, in 2008. Giving Eemax the capability to expand its product breadth and hold on the marketplace. In 2010 Eemax came out with a ASSE 1070 approved electric tankless water heater called Accumix.
